Logo and business cards for new internet television site, Open Affairs that will examine transparency in all aspects of technology, government and healthcare. The red "person" is a combination of the O and the A of the name and also symbolizes a transmission tower broadcasting to the world and (if you squint really hard), a keyhole for unlocking previously hidden information....

We designed this quick flyer for the newly-formed Distillery Row, a guild of 6 local distilleries all located in Southeast Portland. The flyer will be used at this year's PICA TBA:10 festival where the distilleries will be hosting a special bar as part of The Works at Washington High School from September 9 – 19th with a special Distillery Row Happy Hour on Tuesday September 14th. Next up: branding and a new website. ...

We just revised the branding for Peter Champ, a Portland area realtor and long-time supporter of DBD+A. The updated brand is punchier (Pete was once an amateur boxer), greener (he's Earth Advantage S.T.A.R. certified and a Trade Partner with the Energy Trust of Oregon), and just plain cooler (Pete's very cool for a Brit). So, we came up with NOLO is OPEN which you will start seeing around the North of Lovejoy area in business windows, streetcar...

Hot off the presses: new logos and business cards for local pet accessory company, muffinhead. This new Portland start-up is making coats for dogs from recycled people clothing, creating one-of-kind jackets that are as stylish as they are sustainable. The logo-type is a fun combination of silliness and seriousness, nicely reflecting the sensibilities of this new company. Stay tuned, as their website will be debuting soon! ...

Deluxe designed all of the marketing and promotional campaign components for the 2010 Laurelhurst School Auction + Party, including posters, banners, t-shirts, buttons and the official website. The various pieces were very bright and cheerful, and really caught your eye when walking around the school! ...

Here's a preview image of some labels we did for new Portland distillery, Deco Distilling. Bill and Lenny at Deco are very nice guys and their rum is pretty decent, too! You can pick up your very own bottle of Deco Ginger Rum, or Deco Light Silver Rum at Pearl Specialty Market and Spirits and other fine liquor stores in Portland, Oregon.
